Alessandro Berni Gallery presents The Labyrinth of Dreams, a solo exhibition by Nieves Saah, on view from April 2 through April 12, 2026, at 511 West 25th Street, New York.

Saah builds environments that feel remembered rather than seen. Images appear like ragments retrieved from somewhere slightly out of reach, familiar but unstable. The viewer is not positioned as an observer, but as a participant moving through a system that refuses straight lines, easy readings, or fixed meaning.
 

The labyrinth here is not a symbol. It is a condition.

There is no center to reach, no narrative to unlock. Instead, the work operates through accumulation, repetition, and subtle disorientation. Forms echo, mutate, and return altered, as if each piece had already lived another life before arriving on the wall.
 

Saah’s language sits in that narrow and uncomfortable space between control and drift. The compositions suggest intention, but something always slips. Perspective bends. Time folds. What seems stable begins to flicker, and the viewer moves through it the way one moves through a dream: guided, but never fully in control. There are no instructions. Only signals.
 

The Labyrinth of Dreams does not ask to be understood. It asks to be crossed.
