Mo Kong is a multi-media artist, researcher. He is currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. He received his MFA degree in Digital + Media from Rhode Island School of Design.
His work always deeply impacted by the social events, through the detailed description to certain social event to built the general emotional connections to the audience. The body of work use visual language to tell the heartbreaking and emotional stories, but beyond the humanity and memorial is the critique to the overpowered government. His work is political, but not have to be activism. His work takes on a very personal social and political direction and the materials he works with lend themselves to the nature of each subject he deals with.
